So many things these days have remote control: cars, TV, toys it’s all to ease our life. But I have this impression that some people behaves like there is also one for the life itself. They wait for things to happen to them not even exposing themselfs for opportunities, like in this joke from Elizabeth Gilbert book “about a poor man who goes to church every day and prays before the statue of a great saint, begging, “Dear saint-please, please, please…give me the grace to win the lottery.” This lament goes on for months. Finally the exasperated staue comes to life, looks down at the begging man and says in weary diremotesgust, “My son-please, please, please…buy a ticket.” To all people that wait:
“Life has no remote….get up and change it yourself!”
